“An approachable collection of wines with a heavy lean towards white and fizzy wines. Specifically those built by, shaped by or crafted by the sea.” Sur Mer.
There are plenty of wine by the glass options at all times. From fizz to red and all that’s in between.
Mid-week slurpers will be made as comfortable as those who aren’t afraid to overstate or treat someone special (themselves). I hope you can tell we don’t like to take ourselves too seriously. Well, we try not to anyway.

We reckon that our bar is a perfect space to drink a cocktail in. The cocktails on the list are grounded by traditions yet exciting and original. We like to serve them with a little less arrogance and a little more tongue in cheek. Want something not on the list? No problem, we try to play all the hits.
The freshly shucked oyster offering is the main food attraction at The Walrus. There are several different oyster options every day. Outside of that there are pintxos and other wine-centric snacks to enjoy. There are more substantial plates too. Like sea urchin pasta for example. So, whether you’re in for a small bite or a long night, there’s more than a few options to satisfy your hungry tum.
We (The Walrus) acknowledge the Yalukut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung people within the Kulin nation, as the traditional owners of the land on which we are. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present and emerging. We thank them for sharing the land in which we live, work, play and learn.
